How to Play Cookie Run: Braverse
Devsisters' Cookie Run: Braverse brings the mobile-game heroes to the table. You pick a Leader Cookie, build a deck around their kingdom, and race to defeat your opponent's Cookie before they take yours down. Fast, colourful, and easy to teach.
I Game Objective
Defeat your opponent's Leader Cookie by reducing its HP to 0, or by meeting an alternate win condition printed on certain cards.
II Building Your Deck
Deck size
1 Leader Cookie + a 50-card Main deck.
Card types
- Leader Cookie
- Your starting hero. Sits in the Leader zone for the whole game with a printed HP and a leader skill.
- Cookie
- Allied units you play to the field to attack and defend.
- Treasure
- Equipment cards that attach to a Cookie to give stats or abilities.
- Magic
- One-shot spell cards with immediate effects.
- Stage
- Persistent location cards with ongoing battlefield effects.
Deck restrictions
- Maximum 4 copies of any card with the same name.
- Cards should follow the colour/kingdom identity rules tied to your Leader Cookie.
- Main deck must be exactly 50 cards.
III Setting Up the Game
- Place your Leader Cookie face-up in the Leader zone.
- Shuffle your Main deck and present it for a cut.
- Determine the first player.
- Draw your opening hand.
Starting hand
5 cards.
Mulligan
Once per game, before turn 1, you may shuffle your entire starting hand back into your deck and redraw the same number of cards.
IV Turn Flow
- Stand
- Ready all your rested cards.
- Draw
- Draw 1 card. The first player typically skips Draw on turn 1.
- Resource
- Generate the turn's resources (Crystals) used to pay card costs.
- Main
- Play Cookies, attach Treasures, cast Magic, and activate abilities.
- Battle
- Attack with your Cookies and your Leader against the opposing Leader or Cookies.
- End
- Resolve end-of-turn effects and pass.

- Cookie Run: Braverse is a newer game and product lines are still expanding — always cross-check the latest rulebook for your set.
- Different Leaders enable very different deck archetypes; pick a Leader that matches the play style you want.
